e with the program of the PNP to continually maintain its fire power capability and readiness in the fight against lawless elements including local and international terrorists, the Logistics Support Service (LSS) under the strong stewardship of PCSUPT MANUEL H CACHERO regularly conducts inventory and accounting of ammunition and explosive ordnance to maintain their serviceability. Relatedly, old and deteriorating ammunitions and explosive ordnance are to be disposed and replenished.
LSS - EOD Eliminates the Hazard of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW)
After the World War II, enormous stockpiles of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) were left behind by the United States Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) at the Caballo Islet of Corregidor Islands located at the entrance to Manila Bay.
